DB JA'BRIL RAWLS
The secondary has been fine this season under the guidance of Patrick Surtain Sr. and Evan Cooper. While it has been sensational this year, it hasn't been the reason that the Seminoles have lost four games in a row.
Redshirt sophomore Ja'Bril Rawls missed the last game against Stanford, which the Seminoles seem to miss his aggression and physicality. The Pensacola, Florida, native brings a certain type of edge that defensive coordinator Tony White's unit wants to show all the time.
Rawls only recorded two tackles, but he was fighting off blocks on the perimeter and finding his way to the football. Some players just have a knack for locating and attacking the football, and he is one of those contributors on defense for the Seminoles.
This was a nice return for Florida State's defense to have cornerback Ja'Bril Rawls back in the fold. Hopefully, he can scare off those Clemson wide receivers that might not be so confident in themselves after falling to a 3-5 record on the year.
