FSU baseball tied for the most players selected in the 2025 MLB Draft with 11. It's a great sign that the program is heading in the right direction(not to mention making the College World Series and Super Regionals in back-to-back years).

All 11 players have signed with their respective teams, including the No. 11 overall player selected, Jamie Arnold.

He signed with the Oakland Athletics for the maximum slot value at $5,985,100.

Here are the teams and amounts that the 10 other draftees signed with:

  • Alex Lodise (2nd round, No. 60 overall): Atlanta Braves for $1,297,500 (225,700 underslot)
  • Cam Leiter (2nd round, No. 65 overall): Los Angeles Dodgers for $1,349,100 (exact slot)
  • Max Williams (3rd round, No. 78 overall): Miami Marlins for $897,500 (146,200 underslot)

  • Maison Martinez (16th round, No. 474 overall): Cincinnati Red for $147,500 (2,500 under slot)

Evan Chrest is the lone unsigned FSU draftee remaining He got injured early in the 2025 season and had to miss the remaining portion.

It's good to see these players signed and getting started with their respective teams. Jamie Arnold made his first appearance for the Oakland organization in Mesa, Arizona, on Wednesday. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes Arnold to make the show. He has electric stuff and it shouldn't take long if he can harness the changeup and throw it consistently.
