Overall Thoughts
I keep coming to Gus Malzhan and Herb Hand's track record working together. Also, it was a long time ago, but those two, and Mike Norvell, helped produce a prolific offense at Tulsa.
I believe FSU will have success running the ball this year. That will open up other aspects, and the offense will be better. There's no way it could be as bad or worse than 2024.
Thomas Castellanos improved as a passer last year and cut down on the turnovers. FSU has upgraded the talent at the receiving/tight end positions, and the offensive line.
FSU has capable running backs and Castellanos will do his part in the running game. The biggest factor will be injury luck.
If FSU can maintain its starters on offense and avoid injury? I think they could be a top-40 offense.
