As an FSU football fan, I know you're in wait-and-see mode until the season starts, and won't believe anything you hear until you see it on the field.
I'm right there with you, but if you're a frequent reader of the site, you'd know I'm more bullish on this team than most. I have a ton of confidence in the two new coordinators, and they brought in different types of transfers than last season at important positions.

The offensive line is among the units that added the most talent and experience. One of those guys is transfer Micah Pettus. He was a major win for the Nole in the Winter Transfer Portal Window.
He practiced in the spring, but had limitations that forced him to miss most of the full-contact stuff. He's healthy now and spoke to the media after Monday's practice:
Pettus gave a ton of praise to FSU offensive line coach Herb Hand, stating, "Coach Hand has been doing a great job, some of the best coaching I've ever had in my life."
He also gave praise to the young freshmen and spoke about how he hangs out with the offensive linemen who transferred with him.
However, the statement below is what caught my attention the most:
"Moving the ball, taking people where we wanted to take them...it was all clicking today."
That's the type of stuff FSU fans have been wanting to see for the better part of the last decade. FSU offensive lines in past years rarely blew teams off the line of scrimmage, and running backs often got hit before they got to the line of scrimmage.
Mike Norvell talked about how they opened up some holes in some of the practice periods. The cynic fan will say that the defensive line must suck. However, we know Tony White emphasizes stopping the run and has been successful at it every season. Hopefully, the offensive line can stay healthy, and if so, this is promising for what they want to do on offense this season.
