TE/DE AMAREE WILLIAMS
There were some rumblings that sophomore tight end Amaree Williams was being featured on both sides of the football. Former Colorado and current Jacksonville Jaguar Travis Hunter had the two-way player title famous as of late, even though there have been individuals that have accomplished the feat in the past.
Nonetheless, the Seminoles' coaching staff grabbed former five-star prospect Amaree Williams in the 2026 cycle. He was listed as the number one athlete in most recruiting rankings. After Florida State pursued him, Williams elected to reclassify to the 2025 cycle.
Even though the coaching staff recruited Williams as a defensive end in high school, they decided to move him to the tight end position to get him on the field quicker since his frame still needed to be developed.
Williams recorded five receptions for 71 yards and two touchdowns last year. I know that Florida State will probably use him at tight end with Randy Pittman Jr's injury, but I believe that his appearance at the defensive end position would not be out of the question either.
