WR TAE'SHAUN GELSEY
Florida State offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn is all about getting playmakers the football in their hands. The offense is built for playmakers. I know that the fan base had hesitations last year, given how the unit operated.
However, the Seminoles now have weapons that make opposing defenders terrified. It starts with Duce Robinson, Squirrel White, and Jayvan Boggs. With Florida State playing East Texas A&M, the Seminoles want to exit the contest healthy.
To avoid risking injuries, they will likely have the reserves in there by the second half. I already mentioned how important I thought the 2025 recruiting class would be to the success of the program overall, since they had so many of them play against Alabama.
Nonetheless, I think that true freshman wide receiver Tae'Shaun Gelsey will have an impact in the game. He had a breakout performance in the camp at Jacksonville, but his name got quiet when they came back to Tallahassee. Gelsey is someone that they like in the wide receiver position, so it wouldn't surprise me to see Glenn or Sperry build a connection like him.
