DB EARL LITTLE JR.

Redshirt junior defensive back Earl Little Jr. made his presence known in the season opener, against his former team (Alabama). The ROVER safety has been someone that is being relied on for defensive coordinator Tony White.

While I know that some of the fan base is frustrated with Coach White's 3-3-5 scheme, Little Jr. brings the juice but needs to improve upon his ability to wrap up when tackling. However, it is important to note that he sees the field well in locating the football and being around it.

The former American Heritage High School standout is Florida State's top tackler (52). However, what's even more impressive is that Little Jr. has recorded four interceptions, which is the same amount of interceptions that Florida State's defense had all of the 2024 season.

To be honest, this is a game that the defender has to show up for. Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik has to feel the presence of Little Jr. and this Florida State defense. It is "New November" and the Seminoles need to respond is a huge way.
