DB JA'BRIL RAWLS

Florida State got one of its best defenders back for its matchup against Wake Forest in redshirt sophomore defensive back Ja'Bril Rawls. The Pensacola native has been a bright spot for a roster that has been inconsistent.

Rawls does a phenomenal job with fighting over blockers and isn't afraid to get his nose into the perimeter. The defender brings an edge to the defense. This is a unit that defensive coordinator Tony White wants to express physicality and aggression.

Defensive backs haven't been the reason that the Seminoles have seen regression. Assistant coaches Patrick Surtain Sr. and Evan Cooper are looking to see flashes from the group as a whole.

This is a contest that quarterback Cade Klubnik wants to elevate the plays in the passing game, since their running game is not as effective. If the Seminoles can make Clemson one-dimensional, then I see Ja'Bril Rawls having a productive outing.
