Florida State fans received the horrible news that redshirt sophomore defensive back Ja'Bril Rawls will be out for the remainder of the 2025 season. It is a shame that Rawls battled through a shoulder injury previously in the year. Rawls is a tough player that plays aggressive.
Florida State's secondary isn't the reason that the Seminoles have lost games. However, it stings that Rawls will not be playing on Saturday, in an environment that Florida State can never win in (even though the program is good).
The Pensacola native did not play against Virginia Tech. Hopefully, younger pieces would be to step in to replace him and be viable options. The biggest concern is that they need to find more capable depth.
One success is that Florida State acquired freshman defensive back Shamar Arnoux, who the Seminoles have to battle Auburn for his services. With Ja'Bril Rawls and Charles Lester, the Georgia native seems to be pushing for Shamar Arnoux in two weeks.
