DT MANDRELL DESIR
Florida State football hasn't recruited well from the high school ranks. It looked like the coaching staff has relied on previously with the transfer portal, especially on the offensive and defensive trenches.
The Seminoles had a productive 2025 recruiting class, where the program has used many of the members in quality roles on the roster. This was quite interesting since this was a class that was finished by a brand-new coaching staff.
There were a couple of prospects that fans were talking about the defensive linemen in the class, such as Kevin Wynn, L A Jessie Harrold, and Tylon Lee. However, individuals got a pleasant surprise as the Desir Twins started to emerge.
The Desir Twins are a package deal with being close siblings. Defensive coordinator Tony White raved about the true freshmen duo in the offseason. Mandrell Desir looks to find a home at defensive tackle, and has five sacks on the season.
