TE RANDY PITTMAN JR.
Florida State favors wide receiver Duce Robinson in the passing game. This makes sense considering that he is 6'6" in his frame. Fans worry that Castellanos heavily invested in getting Robinson involved in the game plan.
He has over half of the second-best receiver (Micahi Danzy) on the roster this year. As a result, it is a dangerous game to talk about other pass catchers in the offense. Just look at, veteran transfer, Squirrel White, who disappeared from the offense, since hauling in the 40-yard grab in the opener against Alabama.
Tight end Randy Pittman Jr. has not been used much in the passing game this season. However, the coaching staff has found success in him being utilized in the Wildcat formation. The former UCF transfer was seen putting Alabama defenders on their backs in the opener with his crucial blocks.
This should be an opportunity for Pittman Jr. to stabilize the offense when it gets stagnant on the road and be an option for the coaching staff to change the outcome of the contest. The Seminole fans might see much on the stat sheet, but Pittman Jr. should make an impact.
