JORDAN TRAVIS WAS THE MAN IN TALLAHASSEE
Florida State football has been a roller coaster ride under the guidance of head football coach Mike Norvell. However, one shining moment was been the improvement of former quarterback Jordan Travis. I still remember wondering if the West Palm Beach native could throw 15 yards downfield.
Nonetheless, Travis proved the doubters wrong time and time again, when he recorded 10.700 yards and 96 touchdowns during his career with the Seminoles. I hate the fact that his time in the Garnet and Gold ended in a meaningless game versus North Alabama on Senior Night when Florida State was on the verge of making the College Football Playoff.
Travis had his NFL career end prematurely with the New York Jets because of his leg not properly healing. It is an unfortunate circumstance that I know he wished that he had back.
TRAVIS PRAISES JAMIE ARNOLD
Quarterback Jordan Travis was been a huge baseball fan during his time at Florida State, given that his older brother, Devon Travis, played for the Seminoles' baseball program from 2010-2012.
Travis noticed the incredible effort from starting pitcher Jamie Arnold, who pitched 6.2 innings with nine strikeouts in the Super Regionals versus Oregon State on Saturday night. The former signal-caller announced on social media that he is in the Arnold fan club.

Both athletes have something in common in that they had impactful careers with the Seminoles. It is an amazing sight to see a brotherhood build through mutual connections at the university. This is what Florida State athletics is all about.
Pitcher Jamie Arnold is a top-three selection in the MLB Draft by many analysts, so I know that something special will be coming his way soon.
