Running Back-GRADE B

Amari Thomas- No. 349 player overall four-star

Thomas was the lone running back signee in the class and had a wild recruitment. He was committed to FSU, flipped to South Carolina, before flipping back to FSU towards the end of his recruitment. Thomas has a build similar to former FSU running back, Chris Thompson. He probably doesn't have the same top end speed, but averaged 10.6 yards per rush over the past two years in high school.

He was a highly-productive running back and someone who should be able to contribute at the next level fairly quickly. He can catch the ball in the passing game, but probably needs to add a few pounds to withstand the the physical nature of the position in college.
