The Stanford Cardinals finished the season (3-9, 2-6 ACC) and were not a good team.
The Noles will travel across the country for this matchup, and that is a concern. However, the Cardinals will play a road game against SMU the week prior.
Stanford isn't a highly talented football team, and this game is during the season when the lack of depth begins to show. They lost a ton of guys to the transfer portal and didn't match that number with incoming players.
They'll play BYU and Boston College in back-to-back weeks early in the season, and those are two physical teams. This is a game FSU should win barring something crazy happening, like turning the ball over multiple times.
