FSU football coaches have met most of the needs in its 2026 recruiting class, with the defensive end as the exception. FSU doesn't have one defensive end committed, but its top-ranked commit, Chauncey Kennon, is recruiting for the Noles on social media.
I can't think of anyone better, a five-star that has an FSU tattoo. Kennon posted this on X Sunday afternoon:

The target is four-star defensive end Asharri Charles, who's committed to the rival Miami Hurricanes. He is the No. 206 player and No. 21 defensive end nationally.
He has already taken his official visits to Miami, Kentucky, Louisville, and Missouri. Miami had the last official visit he took this summer, and he committed to them a few days later. The good news is that he has an official visit scheduled to FSU for the weekend of the Alabama game.
That game is already sold out and will have a better atmosphere than any Miami game he could go to (until they play FSU).
We've harped on why that Alabama game is the most important one on the 2025 schedule. How well they perform in that game will go a long way in determining how successful they are in keeping the commits they have and potentially flipping other key targets committed elsewhere.
Kennon was asked if he was recruiting any guys to play with him when he committed recently. He didn't mention any but said there were some top guys he'd like to play with, but this is the first guy I've seen him recruit on social media (at least X page).
FSU offered Charles four months before Miami and got him on campus for its Elite Camp in June 2024. They have some work to do if they plan to flip him, but at the very least, it could force Miami to pay him more than they're already doing so.
