Traditional Run Game Isn't Great
Clemson’s not a great rushing team, and they only have one running back they trust in senior Adam Randall. He has 101 rushes for 522 yards (5.17 ypc) and six touchdowns. Their second leading rusher is quarterback Cade Klubnik.
He averages about seven rushing attempts per game, though they might limit him since he missed a game with an injury before coming back for the Duke game.
Clemson only averages about 3.99 yards per rush and only runs the ball 45 percent of the time. They rank No. 81 in explosive runs, so they aren’t going to beat you to death in that fashion.
FSU is usually good against the traditional run game, only allowing 3.08 yards per rush. Clemson only averages about 31 rushes per game, so it’ll be interesting to see how Tony White decides to defend the Clemson offense.
