ACQUIRE DEFENSIVE LINEMEN

Florida State has made a name for itself as a transfer portal defensive lineman destination with pieces such as Jermaine Johnson II, Keir Thomas, and Jared Verse. However, the Seminoles have had the transfer portal shut in their face with their defensive linemen they acquired this offseason.

Nonetheless, this teaches a lesson that the coaching staff has to do a better job of acquiring competent talent on the defensive line via the recruiting trail.

The only defensive lineman who is committed to the program is four-star defensive tackle Kevin Wynn (who has been visiting other schools). The Seminoles have seen four-star defensive end Javion Hilson and four-star defensive tackle Myron Charles de-commit from the university.

I believe that Florida State needs to be more aggressive in the recruiting trail and secure underrated prospects from the state of Florida that they can groom and develop.
