Who I'd Tell To Bounce (Scholarship Players Only)

  • Jalen Brown (Redshirt Sophomore) Poor Attitude and can't block
  • Brock Glenn (Redshirt Sophomore) Kromenhoek passed him
  • Patrick Payton (Redshirt Junior) NIL hostage and poor production
  • Conrad Hussey (Sophomore) Poor Attitude and soft
  • Jaden Jones (Redshirt Junior) Can't play
  • Lamont Green Jr. (Redshirt Freshman) Ain't close to seeing the field
  • Jackson West (Redshirt Junior) Can't play
  • TJ Ferguson (Redshirt Junior) Can't play
  • Julian Armella (Redshirt Sophomore) Apparently can't develop to play
  • Bryson Estes (Redshirt Junior) Can't play
  • Brian Courtney (Junior) No production
  • Jerrale Powers (Redshirt Sophomore) Passed by younger guys

This is a mixture of guys with poor attitudes, who can't play or have been passed up on the depth chart by younger guys. FSU must trim as much dead weight from its roster as possible and maximize those spots with talent from the transfer portal. I know you recognize a couple of legacy guys, but I'm not convinced either will ever play a meaningful snap at FSU.

Overall, FSU has a very young team. I think it's much younger than folks realize when you look at it this way. They have a decision to make at quarterback based on how Luke Kromenhoek finishes the season. However, there's an argument to go into 2025 with him as the starter and put all of their important resources toward the offensive and defensive lines, and wide receiver.
