Whether it was the starters or reserves, every unit went crazy for the Noles.

Honorable Mentions

There are way more than five guys I could have pointed out. However, the first player I’ll mention is freshman receiver Jayvan Boggs. Boggs only had one reception for three yards, but it went for a touchdown. It’ll likely be the first of many, but it was his downfield blocking on one of the long touchdowns that got everyone talking. Boggs will be a player for FSU; it’s just a matter of time.

Brock Glenn was 3 of 3 for 56 yards and a touchdown. He also added one rush for 10 yards. Glenn looked comfortable and efficient, and that’s always a good thing in the event he has to play at any point.

Freshman Tylon Lee is another player I hoped to hear from in fall camp who had been missing in action. He flashed a few times in the game, including this play below:

KJ Sampson only got credit for one tackle, but he was disruptive on several plays while in the game. He’s a player we’ve been waiting on to emerge on the defensive line.

Deante McCray had two tackles and one tackle for a loss. Redshirt freshman Jayden Parrish had three tackles in limited duty.
