Tyeland Coleman-DT

JUCO product Tyeland Coleman is a name I’ve been waiting to hear since he arrived at FSU earlier this year. I thought he’d be more of a factor throughout fall camp, but we never heard the coaches mention his name.

That changed on Saturday when I heard his name several times on the broadcast, causing havoc in the backfield for East Texas A&M. He got credit for two tackles and a sack.

However, he effected several plays on the field that don’t show up on the stat sheet. FSU has solid depth along the defensive front, but if Coleman starts becoming a contributor and earns at least 10-20 snaps per game? That would go a long way to helping Darrell Jackson Jr. and that entire rotation.

It would also be a positive development for next year.
