AJ Cottrill-LB

A lot of FSU football fans were surprised when they saw AJ Cottrill’s name on the depth chart before the Alabama game. However, the redshirt junior appeared in all 12 games last year, mostly on special teams and as a reserve linebacker.

He didn’t start the game, but led the team in total tackles against East Texas A&M. He had four tackles and half of a sack. He and safety Donny Hiebert were looking to lay the wood on players any chance they got in the game.

He’s not gonna wow you with insane athleticism, but he’s going to be in the right spot and make you pay if he gets the opportunity. A true glue guy that helps make everyone better, whether it’s on the scout team, special teams, or wherever.
