Duke Has A BAD Offense

There has been a lot of criticism of the FSU defense, and rightly so in certain situations. However, they've faced a decent slate of offenses through the first six games.

FSU has flaws but still only allows an average of 25 ppg. If FSU had a decent offense, they'd likely be 4-2 or 3-3 at worst.

Duke's offense ranks No. 91 via FEI(FSU's ranks No. 84). Duke only averages 3.53 yards per rush and 5.27 yards per play. They struggle to convert third downs, only converting 28.75 percent of the time.

They don't have anyone who scares you from a receiving standpoint, and their QB isn't special at all(more on him later). This is a game where the FSU defensive front should play well, which bodes well for the rest of the defense.

If the FSU defense can hold the Duke offense in check, it'll give the FSU offense more chances to score and potentially build a lead to make Duke more predictable offensively. FSU held much better offenses in check despite not getting much help from the offense in the first six games.
