Which Receivers Emerge
The wide receiver position has been Duce Robinson and Jaylin Lucas for the most part before games entered garbage time. It looks like Squirrel White could play, although I’d hold him out another week or play him very limited snaps.
Lawayne McCoy is someone FSU fans should be excited about. He’ll see his first game action this season after dealing with an injury through fall camp.
FSU fans need to see more from Elijah Moore, Jayvan Boggs, and the tight end room. The continued development of Micahi Danzy as a receiver should be interesting. The same goes for Chase Loftin, wherever they decide to line him up.
Multiple threats in the passing game are what will open up this FSU offense when they play better teams. Teams will start to focus on Robinson heavily, and FSU will need others who can pose issues, especially with Randy Pittman likely out again in the tight end room.
We’ll likely see more continued effort to work on the passing game early, since it’ll be a vital factor against good teams.
