FOUR-STAR WR DEVIN CARTER

I know that Florida State already has three wide receiver commitments in its 2026 recruiting class, with four-star Brandon Bennett, four-star Efrem White, and four-star Darryon Williams. However, I always side on adding as many dynamic playmakers as you can.

Let's face it, the wide receiver core was awful for the Seminoles in 2024. The program then hired UCF's Tim Harris Jr. to be its wide receivers coach after relieving former wide receivers coach Ron Dugans of his duties.

I know some of the fan base was hesitant on Harris Jr's recruiting ability, but he has started to pick up steam. He could get the excitement going by adding four-star wide receiver Devin Carter (Auburn commit). Carter's father, Dexter, played running back at Florida State, and he was once committed to the Seminoles before flipping to Auburn.

After his official visit with the Seminoles, Carter spoke with the media and stated that Malzahn wanted to use him all over the field. Florida State has to get the talented Georgia native back in its recruiting class.
