FSU football: Predicting final six games of 2024 regular season
By Kelvin Hunt
Notre Dame
This is one of two games that I thought FSU had a chance to lose before the season. I had this game at a 55 percent winning percentage for the Noles.
I correctly pointed out that Notre Dame had a cakewalk schedule in the first half, and they managed to lose in a huge upset against Northern Illinois in the second game.
However, the Fighting Irish look to have figured out a few things over the past few games. They have the No. 28 offense, No. 1 defense, and the No. 79 special teams.
I knew their defense would be their strength, and FSU's offensive issues are what scares me the most. I don't see the Noles getting a running game going, and that's asking a lot of Brock Glenn to beat the Irish through the air with a receiving unit that's been far from impressive.
The FSU defense will likely have problems stopping their running game.
I'm not sure FSU has enough firepower on offense to get the job done in this one.
