Final Thoughts
These are all projections because we have no idea what will happen over the course of a season. I think 9-3 is more likely than 5-7.
I pegged FSU at 8-4, but how the season unfolds has a lot to do with what Miami and Florida look like. I’m not sold on this Miami team that’s full of transfers once again, despite the Miami media always talking about high school recruiting.
High school recruiting doesn’t matter if those players never get into the game or transfer. Miami could enter the FSU game with a loss to Notre Dame and Florida, and we know that program has some quit in its DNA if they lose games early.
Florida is a big mystery, and their schedule is CRAZY. They have a stretch where they play LSU, Miami, Texas, Texas A&M, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tennessee with two bye weeks. They will likely be beaten all up by the time they play FSU. If the Noles can finally have some good injury luck? I could see them beating the Gators to finish the regular season on a high note.
