Honorable Mentions

I couldn't write this post without giving some major credit to the guys on special teams. Ryan Fitzgerald and Alex Mastromanno have been OUTSTANDING.

Fitzgerald hasn't had many opportunities, but he's made the most of them, going 6 for 6, and a couple of extremely long field goals. He's also 7 of 7 on extra points, and opponents have only returned one kickoff for 20 yards this season.

Alex Mastromanno has been on the field way too much (31 punts) but has delivered big-time. He's averaging a career-best 49.26 yards per punt, with 10 punts landing inside the 20-yard line.

He also boomed a career-long 65-yard punt. He has developed into a monster weapon, capable of flipping the field even when the offense doesn't get a first down. These two guys don't get much attention, but I thought it was worth noting how well they have played thus far.
