Win The Turnover Battle
Make no mistake, one of the biggest reasons that FSU lost 10 games last year was that they lost the turnover battle in nearly every game.
The offense turned the ball over 22 times in 12 games. They had at least one turnover in nine games and had two or more in six games. They had three or more in four games.
It’s not a winning formula for offenses to turn the ball over that much, but then, when you add a defense that can’t generate turnovers? You get 2-10.
My hope is that FSU can avoid turning the ball over at all, but at the very least, the hope is that they can cancel out any offensive turnovers with the defense generating one. If they generate a turnover, they must capitalize and get points. FSU probably needs to score 28+ to win this one, and anytime they can steal a possession and get points, the better. college
