Filled Most Needs

FSU has a four-star QB who fits Gus Malzahn's offense to a tee. FSU's defensive line haul isn't terrible, with two defensive tackles and two defensive ends that can play OLB in Tony White's defense.

All four are grown men and won't have to add 30-40 pounds before getting on the field. FSU signed two solid offensive linemen with the potential to contribute in a year or two.

They signed a quality linebacker, and all three defensive backs are versatile with exceptional length.

They signed one of the top kickers nationally.

However, the two top areas I'm most excited about are the skill positions. FSU signed its top target at running back and a haul of massive individuals with excellent speed at the wide receiver/tight end spots. I'll discuss this more shortly.

It's possible FSU may add a few more guys in the next day. I wouldn't mind seeing them take a couple more offensive linemen and a linebacker.

We'll see if they can add more over the next two days. If not, they'll likely address their remaining needs in the transfer portal, which is better than taking a flyer on a high school project that won't contribute for two years.
