Thomas Castellanos
I wrote that one of the biggest things we needed to see was Thomas Castellanos' continued progression. That's what we saw in the second scrimmage, according to Mike Norvell.
What's better is he got to see how Castellanos would respond to adversity, and he passed that test with flying colors. I've written that I think they are using Jordan Travis as the blueprint for Castellanos.
They are similar players, but Jordan Travis took better care of the ball and took fewer risks overall. I think that's what Mike Norvell is referring to when he says Castellanos is settling in to what he's asked to do.
He mentioned that the development of him as a total and complete quarterback is something that excites him. Those are all things that were similar to Jordan Travis during his ascension between the end of 2021 and 2022.
If Castellanos can stay healthy? This offense will put up points against most of the teams on the schedule.
