Hit Explosive Plays

Florida's defense allows 5.56 yards per play, 4.02 yards per rush, and 7.4 yards per pass attempt. They allow teams to convert third downs 40 percent of the time.

In other words, Florida has allowed A LOT of explosive plays. They rank No. 111 nationally with 164 plays with 10+ yards allowed. They've allowed 66 plays with 20+ yards, 22 plays with 30+ yards, and eight 40+ yards allowed.

For comparison's sake, FSU has allowed 166 plays of 10+ yards allowed. However, many of those happened once it was clear the FSU offense would continue to ghost the FSU defensive efforts.

I don't think FSU will consistently execute play after play because of its terrible offensive line. However, they can offset that with explosive plays, especially through the air, because Florida ranks No. 106 in passing yards allowed. They've also allowed 17 passing touchdowns, which ranks No. 70 nationally.
