FSU football: 3 receivers that should get more opportunities against Kent State

These pass catchers should be able to create separation.

WR MICAHI DANZY

Florida State has had major success with speedster Micahi Danzy running the reverses and showcasing his game-changing ability, making opposing defenses look silly.

The sophomore made the switch to wide receiver this offseason after previously being at running back. This was a logical move, considering that Danzy isn't viewed as a runner between the tackles. The name of the game for this offense is to get his track speed on the outside.

This is not a suggestion that he is just a gadget player, but the wheel route against Charleston Southern and even Clemson last season displayed the dangerous nature when he flies past defenders.

The Tallahassee native only has two catches for 14 yards this year through two games. This isn't someone likely to be an 800-yard receiver, but the football should be in his hands more often, even if that means on-screen passes. Kent State should allow him to have an opportunity for a breakout game.
