Overall Thoughts
We say it all the time, we can have opinions on what we believe will happen, but it’s why we play the games. UVA could pull the upset, but dealing in probabilities is how we choose to view things.
UVA will have a very small margin of error if they expect to win this game, and would probably need FSU to turn it over a couple of times. The Noles have been excellent at protecting the ball for the most part.
We saw Alabama come out and punch FSU in the mouth on their first drive, and FSU didn’t flinch. We saw UVA fold under pressure in the second half against NC State.
That game was on the road, and this will be FSU’s first time away from home, so that’s noted. However, if FSU can go up early, that will take the crowd out of it and likely force UVA’s hand into things they may not be comfortable doing.
If FSU can make them one-dimensional, it’ll be difficult for UVA to get much going, and FSU could roll them. FSU wins the game way more times than not, but they only play it once, so we’ll have to see how those chips fall. I like us a lot!
