Miami's offense isn't anywhere close to what it was last season
Miami fans seem to think they still have last year’s offense, but it’s far from it. They have not reached the 30-point mark against a Power Four team yet this season.
The Hurricanes only averaged 4.98 yards per play against Notre Dame. They only averaged 4.52 yards per play against the Florida Gators. The Notre Dame turnovers were the difference in that one, and Florida’s terrible offense forced their defense to get worn down because they couldn’t sustain any drives on offense.

It’s true FSU has shown some vulnerability in the Alabama and Virginia games. However, both teams have better offenses than Miami. FSU fans were loving Tony White after the Alabama game, and trashing him after the Virginia game. That’s how it goes because it’s a what have you done for me lately business.
Miami fans like to brag about last year’s offense, but even that offense didn’t blow away a mediocre FSU defense. IF FSU had any semblance of an offense, last year’s game could have been different.
Well, FSU has an offense this year, and if they strike early and make Miami play from behind, it could be a different ball game, because I don't think they are anywhere near as explosive as last year.
