FSU football: 3 reasons fans should have huge interest in East Texas A&M game

It's a game they will easily win, but there's still a lot to learn about this FSU team

Will the physicality be there like last week?

It’s easy to get up for a game like Alabama. It’s the season opener, the stadium is packed, and it’s Alabama. What will the energy be like to start the game against East Texas A&M?

The team knows they are supposed to win, but will that carry over into their energy before the game starts? Think about how the 2023 FSU team went through the motions against Northern Alabama and what that cost them?

I’m curious to see if they will play with an edge from start to finish? Will those young players I referenced in the previous page play with the same type of reckless abandon as we saw against the Crimson Tide?

If this team plays down to its level of competition, that will be a red flag for me. However, if they come out and score 20+ points in the first half and continue to be stout on defense? That will get my attention and tell me this team is locked in, no matter who the opponent is.

That mentality will be necessary when they face Virginia away from Doak Campbell Stadium in a few weeks.
