Miami Turnovers
FSU has six turnovers this season, but three have been fluky, and one was on the final play in the Virginia game when Thomas Castellanos just heaved the ball in the air trying to make something happen.
Generally, Castellanos has made good decisions with the ball and stayed away from turnover-inducing plays. Carson Beck, on the other hand, has a tendency to turn the ball over. He has thrown three interceptions in his last two games.
FSU has six interceptions in four games, and probably should have at least two more. Tony White’s defense is active on the backend, and they could bait Beck into 1-2 turnovers.
If that happens, especially early in the game, that would energize the crowd to feverish levels, and that is adversity that Miami hasn’t had to deal with. How will they react in their first road game?
