3. NORTH CAROLINA STATE

Florida State football fans have seen the wrath of Carter-Finley Stadium as former quarterbacks such as Mike Glennon and Russell Wilson have defeated the Seminoles heartbreakingly. It gives individuals PTSD as Florida State has had their hopes and dreams crushed in that place.

To be honest, this could be a dangerous spot for the Seminoles. Current signal-caller CJ Bailey is a talented quarterback who can take the top off of opposing defenses.

They have a 3-0 record with wins over East Carolina, Virginia, and Wake Forest. That isn't to say that it is a gauntlet level of opponents, but there is never a "bad win". However, their schedule gets worse as the season progresses.

The Wolfpack plays Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, and Miami before Florida State, so that is a good sign for the Seminoles. However, it is worrisome that it could serve as a look-ahead spot to a rivalry road game against Florida the following week.

For reference, the Gators missed the cut in this article, since it is unknown if head football coach Billy Napier will be at the helm when the Seminoles come to town.
