Offensive Line
The offensive line should be a much-improved unit over last season. I mean, there’s no way it could be worse, right?
FSU added four transfers who’ll likely start or play significant snaps in 2025. Luke Petibon, Adrian Medley, Gunnar Hansen, and Micah Pettus were the four. Richie Leonard and Jacob Rizy return, which gives FSU six guys they trust.
FSU added two more transfers in the spring, but has several guys talented guys who are redshirt freshmen or redshirt sophomores who need to step up. Andre Otto and Lucas Simmons are the latter and could provide that coveted eight-man group that most coaches trust the most.
If FSU could find two more to get to 10 players they trust, that would be amazing. Redshirt freshmen Jonathan Daniels, Jayden Todd, Josh Raymond, and Manassee Itete will hopefully develop over the course of the season.
However, if any of the top six guys go down early, FSU doesn’t have much experience behind them at all.
Overall Thoughts
I know I keep going back to the two games after the Alabama game as extended fall camps because those are games where the backup players should get a lot of snaps to develop. If that comes to fruition, that will serve FSU greatly as the season progresses. If they have good injury luck across the board? I have them at 8-4 at worst.
