Florida State men's basketball program has made the difficult decision as head basketball coach Leonard Hamilton is stepping down at the end of the season for the Seminoles. This was to be expected as the Seminoles have a 13-9 record and have lost four straight games.

This could not be an easy choice for any of the individuals involved with the university. Coach Hamilton is an incredible person and ambassador for the basketball program

However, as a wise man once said: "All good things come to an end eventually." With Coach Hamilton being in the last year of his contract and being 76 years old, some people probably had an idea that this could have been a real possibility.

The longtime basketball coach was not a national championship winner at Florida State, but he transformed the Seminoles into something that they can be proud of. I want to recognize his time here at Florida State and give Hamilton the flowers that he deserves.

As a result, here are my top five best players during Hamilton's tenure at Florida State.
