FSU baseball has been flying under the radar since exiting from the postseason over a week ago. The Noles have holes to fill and added a potent transfer portal bat (Eli Putnam) from Davidson and a potential starting pitcher (Trey Beard) from FAU over the past week.
The Noles got their third addition from the transfer portal when left-handed pitcher Kevin Mebil announced his commitment to the Noles on Friday afternoon.

Mebil had impressive numbers at Division II Barry this past season. Before you turn your nose up because he played Division II, that's the division I played in college, and plenty of pro ball players come from that level.
Mebil lists a five-pitch selection below, though I'm not sure what percentage of the time he throws each. However, in the clips I've seen, he throws the fastball from an over-the-top arm slot and can spot it pretty well. He can throw it up in the zone, and it pairs well with his change-up. The fastball doesn't seem to have much movement, but that's probably why he developed a cutter.
