FSU baseball (41-14) swept through the Tallahassee Regional without losing a game and punched their ticket to Super Regionals for the second consecutive season.

The Noles had to defeat the No. 3 seed Mississippi State Bulldogs from the SEC twice, with both games at night, which provided an electric atmosphere.

The atmosphere seemed too much for some Mississippi State fans, who complained on social media after the Bulldogs got sent home. However, former FSU standout and MLB First-Round Draft pick James Tibbs wasn't having any of it:

In what world are we living in where fans complain about baseball fans being too loud? I know the atmosphere surrounding many stadiums in the SEC gets crazy with fans yelling, not to mention the corny cowbell ringing of Mississippi State fans.

As James Tibbs said, have your team be good enough to host a regional if you don't like it.

It was a great regional for FSU baseball. I said in the preview that none of those teams scared me. FSU beating FSU was the only concern I had, but they played well in all phases, especially the pitching and defense.

FSU starters gave quality starts, and the bullpen was lights out. The FSU offense was hot and cold, but I noted Mississippi State had some arms with electric stuff capable of striking out a lot of guys.

FSU struck out a lot, but they also forced Bulldog pitchers to walk more batters than usual and finally cashed in when they got runners on base. They didn't do it as often as I'd like, and it's something they need to improve on. However, consistently putting pressure on teams with runners on base usually leads to the damn breaking at some point. That's what happened on Sunday night. Texas A&M's starting pitching threw over 100 pitches in only four innings, and once they got into the bullpen, it was only a matter of time.

FSU awaits to see who they will play between USC and Oregon State in the Super Regionals. If it's USC, they'll host in Tallahassee.
