Former Florida State defensive end Janarius Robinson is no stranger to overcoming obstacles, and that’s what his NFL career has consisted of since getting drafted in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings.
An injury forced him to miss his rookie season, and he was waived a year later. Robinson signed with the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad, and again got hurt and was placed on injured reserve. He was waived a year later and then signed with the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad and promoted to the active roster in December 2023. He appeared in six games, totaling eight tackles and one sack.
Robinson managed to appear in 10 games in the 2024 season with the Raiders, tallying 5 tackles and a half of a sack. He left the Raiders and signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, and as history would have it, he got hurt and was placed on the injured reserve, missing the entire 2025 season.
The crazy thing is that Robinson turned 28 years old a few weeks ago. So he’s entering his prime years(if he has any left, with all the injuries to his feet). It looks like another team is willing to give him another shot to revive his career:

Injuries early in his NFL career derailed him before it got started, unfortunately. His mother's home was destroyed by Hurricane Michael while at FSU.
It’s probably the last shot for Robinson to make his presence felt on an NFL team. The inability to stay healthy has cost him millions, but he plays a premium position and has the physical size needed at 6’5” and 265 pounds.

It’s the second team to give Robinson a workout in recent weeks. The New England Patriots gave him an opportunity, too. If I had to guess, they would sign him to a practice squad deal to prove he can stay healthy first. He always seemed to get hurt during August, just before the season got started.
Robinson was a former top 100 player signed by former FSU coach Jimbo Fisher in 2016. He had 105 tackles, eight sacks, and 20.5 tackles for a loss in his time at Florida State.
