Three Reasons FSU loses to Oregon State

No. 3 FSU Pitchers Putting Runners On Base

FSU starting pitchers and bullpen were lights out in the Tallahassee Regional, and part of the reason the Noles swept and never lost a game.

However, that hasn't been the case for large stretches in the season. FSU starting pitchers and the bullpen(more the latter) have the propensity to walk too many batters. Oregon State does have power in its lineup of mostly right-handed batters against FSU's left-handed starting pitching.

If FSU plays with fire too much and gives too many free passes, it could bite them against the Beavers who seem streaky at the plate and feed off one another.
