S EARL LITTLE JR.

Florida State football was not good in 2024. This was an understatement of how bad it was. There weren't many players from last year's roster who performed well. Some fans are not excited about the returning players and only talk about the new pickups.

Defensive coordinator Tony White made headlines this offseason as he referred to returning defensive back Earl Little Jr. as "Him". The former Alabama Crimson Tide defender was invited to the ACC Kickoff press conferences.

This speaks volumes to what he will bring to the table in 2025. The Florida State-Miami game was a mess last year, where the Seminoles were defeated by a score of 36-14. However, one player that you can see on film who flashed was Little Jr.

He made the position change from cornerback to safety midway through the year. This was a major help for his development. Given that Tony White's multiple 3-3-5 scheme utilizes multiple safeties in its defense, the redshirt junior will likely be a piece in 2025 that will be valuable.
