Celebrating some of the all-time memorable flips in the Seminoles' favor

These were a couple of memorable flips in Florida State football recruiting history.

RB DALVIN COOK

One of the best running backs in Seminoles' school history was Dalvin Cook, who Florida State was heavily recruiting. Cook was a five-star prospect from Miami Central High School in Miami, Florida. The arch-rival Miami Hurricanes were heavily pursuing him (for good reason).

The running back standout originally committed to the Clemson Tigers, but that didn't stop the Seminoles from continuing to be involved. Then he de-committed from the Tigers and pledged to the arch-rival Florida Gators.

Then Gators had their disaster of a season, where they had a 4-8 record, and Cook did one of the more hilarious all-time moments in Seminole history as he flipped again and signed with Florida State.

Head football coach Jimbo Fisher and the Seminoles were glad that Cook made that decision because he went on to have over 4,400 rushing yards and 46 rushing touchdowns during his three-year career with Florida State (according to ESPN Stats and Information).
