Florida State football has finished on a sour note to end the 2025 season with a loss over the arch-rival Florida Gators on the road. It was a less than ideal finish, as the Seminoles defeated Alabama in the opener. Individuals thought that the program were College Football Playoff contenders after the victory over the Crimson Tide.
With that said, Early Signing Period is right around the corner and the key for the coaching staff is to acquire talent via the recruiting trail. The Seminoles currently rank as the 13th-best recruiting class in the 2026 cycle.
With the recent 5-7 campaign, the Seminoles' main focus will be to hang on to the prospects that they do have and not let it turn into a Travis Hunter/KJ Bolden/Keldric Faulk situation where they break the hearts of many at the last second.
This isn't meant to be an article showcasing the negative, I instead want to highlight a few memorable flips that went in the Seminoles' favor.
