FOUR-STAR LB RODNEY COLTON JR.

Florida State moved on from assistant coach Randy Shannon this offseason. As a result, they elected to shift John Papuchis over to coach linebackers since Terrance Knighton was hired on as the new defensive line coach.

More of the more surprising developments is that Coach Papuchis has developed a target board filled with star-studded options. The Seminoles already have four-star Karon Maycock and three-star Noah LaVallee in the fold at the position.

With that said, Florida State has its sights set on another talented defender in four-star Rodney Colton Jr., who is from Newnan, Georgia. Colton Jr. officially visited Tallahassee earlier in the month and liked what Florida State had to offer.

The problem is that schools such as Penn State, Ole Miss, and Colorado are involved in his recruitment, and Florida State needs to continue to push hard in the recruitment to secure his services.
