IOL SEAN PORET

Florida State offensive line coach Herb Hand was back at it again with developing the trenches. The Seminoles were able to sway former three-star offensive lineman Sean Poret from Atlanta, Georgia, away from the USF Bulls.

While you may snub the pickup, the Seminoles grabbed a 6'5", 280-pound offensive lineman who can play on the interior and offensive tackle if needed. You can never have too many offensive linemen in the rotation. The numbers always work themselves out.

While former offensive line coach Alex Atkins is at LSU now, he never truly developed high school recruits at the position and often relied on transfer portal prospects. I love that

Florida State had to compete with the likes of SMU, USF, Duke, Boston College, North Carolina State, and Vanderbilt to secure Poret, but they won out in the end. Much like Brown, I don't expect him to play in Year 1 or Year 2, but if he puts in the work, he could be a serviceable piece in the rotation.
