WR TERIQ MALLORY

The wide receiver position was one of the worst in the country last season for the Seminoles in 2024 (what position wasn't bad?). Florida State loaded up on pass catchers with an emphasis on possessing the football.

The Seminoles went out and added former three-star wide receiver Teriq Mallory from Cheshire, Connecticut. The 6'5", 190-pound playmaker has displayed an ability to high-point the football. Florida State had pieces such as Malik Benson, Jalen Brown, and JaKhi Douglas to throw to, who were all undersized last year.

Mallory could bring a sense of aggression that the Seminoles were missing in the coming years. I know that Florida State needs to be healthy at the position, but it will be difficult to see the Connecticut native heavily in the rotation in 2025 with USC's Duce Robinson, Tennessee's Squirrel White, and true freshman Jayvan Boggs getting a lot of noise.

With that said, I still believe that Mallory could be useful in the future.
