Florida State football is looking to get back on track in the win column in 2026, as it has collected seven total wins in two years. The Seminoles have a long history of historical achievements in the place that Bobby Bowden built, but they are trying to get back to sustainable success.
Next year's team is focused on the job security of head football coach Mike Norvell. The administration elected to retain him for the 2026 season after many individuals didn't think that he would make it past the Stanford road loss.
However, it seems as though the program doesn't have the funds to fire him or thinks that he can turn it around in a heartbeat.
Defensive back Antonio Cromartie Jr. gets the win for his second grade football team
Speaking of turning things around in a heartbeat, Florida State football players volunteer on Fridays to help out second graders' flag football teams. This is a great experience for the youngsters to learn a thing or two from players who have been playing for multiple years.
Florida State defensive back Antonio Cromartie Jr. (son of legendary defensive back Antonio Cromartie) went viral for his team losing 40-6. Unfortunately, losses happen at that age, but it had to burn him up to coach a team that was defeated in blowout fashion.
However, on Friday night, Cromartie Jr. was able to rewrite the narrative on his team and come out victorious by a score of 20-15.

His mother, Erin Wilson, highlights that Cromartie Jr. just had to make a few changes in the depth chart. Hopefully, he will start a much-needed winning streak for his squad and lead them to victory.
All kidding aside, it is wonderful to see Florida State football players be involved in community service with helping out with the kids. This will be a moment that these kids remember for a lifetime.
